Work With Me

Indy Women’s Half Training & HandleBar Indy

In the spring, I was considering racing the Geist half marathon. If you’ve been reading for a bit, you’ve heard me talk about it.  At that time, I would look at the schedule laid out for me and I just didn’t want to do it. I was burnt out, having ran three marathons in 7 months. … more »

Jake’s 70.3 Race Report!

Remember Jake? We highlighted him the week of Muncie 70.3. He completed his goal- and we got to see him finish. I pretty much pestered him for the past week and a half to have him send over a race report… here it is: When Glenn agreed to start coaching me in February, the thought … more »

Muncie 70.3 Race Report

I can’t believe it’s over. I decided to train for Ironman Muncie 70.3 14 weeks ago. I had plenty of endurance built up as I was coming off of a March Marathon, but in 14 weeks I needed to learn how to swim more than 2 laps without stopping and work on getting faster and … more »

I was pregnant within a month of the miscarriage. … more »

Getting itchy

I’ve been a terrible blogger lately. I think it has been 3-4 months since I last posted. After putting so much time and energy into Piney Point, once it was over I was left with a sort of empty feeling when it came to running. I had no desire or push to focus on anything. … more »

Seriously… would you get it together already?

I’ve never been the most consistent blogger, but I was getting regular there for a while! Recently I haven’t been the runner I’m used to, which is probably why I haven’t been writing about it. Since the Red Eye Relay in July, I’ve been running consistently, but consistently low and slow mileage. Happy with a slow 5 miles.   There’s been … more »
