Dani Jones recently joined Team Boss to be coached by Joe Bosshard for her professional running career. Dani was a standout runner at the University of Colorado where she was a 4-time NCAA National Champion and 12-time All-American. She holds personal bests of 4:27.88 in the mile, 9:02.22 in the 3000m, and 15:17 in the 5000m.
Running for Desert Vista High School, Dani was one of the top high school runners in the nation. She set state records in the 1600, mile, and 3200m and won the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m state titles in the same meet her senior year. She also won the 2014-15 Arizona Gatorade Cross Country Runner of the Year.
In this episode, Dani talks about being a standout runner in high school, some of her best running moments with the University of Colorado and deciding to turn pro and join Team Boss. Dani will be making her professional debut on Saturday, June 27th as her and her teammates chase after the fastest mile in Colorado (4:36.8-set by Dani during college).
