Episode 139: Charlie Watson

Charlie Watson is a marathoner who has completed all 6 of the World Marathon Majors, Hiked Mt. Kilimanjaro with a bunch of strangers, World Traveler and soon to be Dietitian.  She believes that approaching health and fitness with a healthy balance is the key to success. She lives outside of London with her husband and travels to the states frequently, usually adding in some marathons or marathon spectating when she does!

In this episode we talk about how she signed up for her very first marathon not knowing the distance of a marathon! She completed the race in 4:54 and has gone on to take her time down to 3:44. We talk about that first time she broke 4 hours and her mission now to get her first Boston Qualifier. We also get to talk about her future goals and dreams as well – Full Ironman coming up!

Charlie has a robust Social Media following; people love to follow her fun and inspiring journey as she is extremely approachable and honest about her training and life. So we talk a lot about social media/instagram and how that plays into both of our lives. I’ve been following Charlie for awhile now and love her even more after getting to chat with her on this call!

Enjoy!
