Stephanie Bruce just won her first National Title at the Peachtree 10K – something she’s wanted and worked for for over a decade. So many experiences in between, including having two kids 15 months apart with her husband Ben Bruce. Stephanie holds a marathon PR of 2:29 and a half marathon PR of 1:10 with her sites set on a breakthrough there in the coming seasons. She runs for Hoka One One with Naz Elite under coach Ben Rosario and though she is yet to announce it, she plans to race a fall marathon!
Stephanie and her husband Ben, also coaches athletes of all ability levels online and they host a running camp in Flagstaff each summer. She is also well known as one of the co-founders of Picky Bars. In this episode we get to talk about Peachtree and what that race meant to her, running for Naz Elite, family life, post partum running and future goals. I mean it when I say it was an honor and joy to have this real conversation with such an inspiring woman.
Join Sarah Canney and Mary Johnson for an amazing weekend retreat filled with group runs, workouts and expert advice; September 7-9th on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire.
