Episode 83: Mirna Valerio

What a fun conversation with Mirna Valerio for this episode of I’ll Have Another. Mirna is a Spanish teacher, choral director, diversity practitioner, cross country running coach, blogger, author and avid trail runner who believes that many of life’s lessons can be learned by simply engaging oneself in the pursuit of wisdom gained through simply moving your body in nature.

In this episode of the podcast, Mirna and I talk about growing up in Brooklyn and how life changing her experience attending a Boarding School was in cultivating the person she is today. We talk about her job as a diversity practitioner and what exactly she does in that job. We talk about race and culture and running. We talk about writing a book and all the things she is loving right now.

Mirna has a contagious joy about her and she’ll leave you feeling inspired and encouraged to go do something oyu love.

Hey great episode as always but this one was fun, a little different. What book did Mirna say she last read? I wanted to try but was driving while I was listening and hoped it would be in the show notes.

Hey! Thank you so much! I forgot to add that! I will add it now! The River at Night by Erica Ferenick. 🙂
