Noah Droddy is fast, he’s fun and a really nice guy. He runs professionally for Saucony and and Polar and trains with the Roots Running project. Noah grew up in Indianapolis, IN and went on to run for Depauw University (A Division 3 School) where he was an All-American. He credits his current success to a gradual growth and progression in training post college. He currently holds a 61:48 half marathon PR – having taken 5 minutes off that time in just two years time. He ran the Chicago Marathon last fall in a time of 2:16 and is currently training for the NYC Half Marathon next weekend and plans to do a fall marathon as well. You might remember him from the 2016 Olympic Trials when he ran the 10K with his long hair, mustache, backwards hat and shades when he went viral in the running world. Though the running word fell in love with Noah then, little did they all know just how fast and how real Noah was.

Noah is down to earth, funny and very easy to talk to. He seems to balance his love for running while keeping a great perspective on other passions in life as well. When I talked to him, I got the feeling that he clearly takes this running thing very seriously, while at the same time not taking himself too seriously and that’s something we can all appreciate. Noah is only my 4th male guest ever on the show and I was honored to have him join that crowd.

Episode 104: Allie Kieffer

I’m so excited to have returning guest Allie Kieffer on the show today! Allie was on the show right after her 5th place finish at the New York City Marathon this past fall and so much has happened since then. Like most of you, I’ve been wondering what she’s up to and what’s next for her. Allie recently signed with Oiselle and is currently training in Kenya and plans to run the London Marathon this spring. She”ll be back in the United States in a few weeks to race a half marathon as well!

Allie is so kind and sweet and in this episode we talk about everything from what life and training in Kenya is like, compared to the United States, how hard running at altitude is to body image and time goals for spring races. She’s the real deal ya’ll.
