I listened to the podcast while doing a treadmill workout at a small little airport in the northwest of Ireland. I am a 47 yr old coastguard helicopter pilot and a 3:00:27 marathoner with Rotterdam booked to finally nail sub 3!
I have spent a good bit of time volunteering in Ethiopia and so particularly loved this episode.
Standout line was when Obsie talked about looking up to those who lift others up…rather than those who just run fast. (I hope I do that… we do a bit of it with the helicopter :-))
Love the podcasts… it’s my way of keeping myself surrounded by positive and other driven runners.
