I live near Grand Rapids, Mi and am a 60 year old distance runner. My wife and I made the trip down to your lovely area and great race and had a wonderful time while there for a couple days. The weather was definitely not ideal for a spring marathon, especially since I was running on snow/ice the week before, but all turned out well and a BQ was accomplished by approximately 6 minutes. I have told others, that I run and train with, about the well organized races that the Carmel Marathon puts on. Thanks for being out there on that hot day and cheering us on!
