Thanks for reading Kristin!! I’m glad you waited 8 weeks- totally worth it!! I’m thinking Louis might be hitting the 9 lb mark now and I’m getting less and less terrified!

Marshall has been such a joy to be with and I am excited about our developing friendship! You are a wonderful mama, and doing a fantastic job…even if you’re not thrilled with the newborn stage! Yay for Vbacs and a body feeling good! I’m looking forward to spending some time in the pool with you, and other workout adventures!

You are so right that coming back slowly and enjoying time with your babies is so much more important than rushing back in and risking injury. Your kids are so cute – Congratulations again!!

I have always applauded you Lindsay and how safe and smart you are with running.

That family photo…oh my gosh I can’t wait to see more!

There is NOTHING to be gained by working out shortly after a baby except a high risk of injury…and a lot of unwanted gross side effects 😉 I waited till 8 weeks (Dr. wanted 12, I met him in the middle! EEK!) and I’m so glad that I did. C-section recovery was really difficult for me mentally and physically. Little babies freak me out too – most in my family are 8+ pounds, my guy was 6!? It was scary for a good three weeks.
