Thanks Dan! Hoping for a good day tomorrow. I think the course layout and wind direction won’t be too bad…not a ton of super open sections…what can’t do anything about it anyway. Have a great run Sunday. Feel ready?

Sounds like you’ve had an awesome training … listened to your body when it started to rebel a bit and still kept yourself in peak shape. I recall being where you were two weeks ago and thinking about how perfect of a training season it had been and that I felt poised on the cusp of a breakthrough — yet cognizant that until that time comes you really don’t know what is in store. I hope to hear my phone buzz with the update of you finishing in 2:4x:yy as I’m out there pacing a friend just as I later hope to hear the buzz of another friend who has had an awesome training season coming in at 3:2x:yy. Tuck in behind whomever you can find near your pace going North and Ride Like The Wind as you ride that wind on the Southbound homestretch knowing that all that hard work has paid off.

I have a feeling it’s going to be a good day. I agree – you sometimes never really know how fit you are until you race. And that’s the fun part! Looking forward to sitting down and drinking several beers on Saturday afternoon.

You are gonna kick ass either way, enjoy it! P.S. Congrats on the 100m week too!
