Yep — loved hearing your voice and seeing you cheering down the stretch.
A great race for me – made me glad I ran Boston the way that I did as the legs recovered in time for a PR.
No problems with using the # to get in a good training run with support (and people can’t complain that extra resources were consumed because it was a number used that was already paid for and planned for).
As for spectating that is hard to say. Love seeing the top dogs (both genders). Love seeing those that I’m there expecting to see. But probably really enjoy the surprise of seeing someone I didn’t expect to see … especially if they are having a kick ass day!

I love spectating big races because it’s like a huge party! It’s also exciting when there are elites running and I am blown away by how fast they are

In reply to Andrea. Congratulations on the race Andrea! That is great! Oh yes, I agree they are always very organized at this race. I forgot to mention the wave start in my post, but I meant to ask some people if it felt less hectic and crowded with it. Looking back, I do think the finish area was much most spread out (making it easier to spot your runner!). I'm with you- spectating is so fun and it's also motivating. Congrats again!!

This was my first year running the race and I really enjoyed it. The organization was great and with the wave start it didn’t feel that big at all. I enjoy all of the things that I get to see while spectating that I don’t normally see while running. It’s great to cheer on the elites and even better to cheer for everyday runners/walkers who are out there giving it everything they have.

It was a fun race this year with perfect weather. It’s very cool that you got on tv. I could see myself in the background behind the reporters when I watched a youtube video of the race broadcast!
