The dress altered from dark blue to filled with vitality green; the patterns also transformed from cartoon character for the picture of Joplin, all could do as we delighted.

Hey Kim! 37 miles?!?!!?!!? Crazy! I’ve done 20 on the treadmill but never more. When is your race? How is your training going?

Thanks! Hahaha…yes the internet in general doesn’t seem to like the internet. It just makes sense sometimes to run on the tread.

Hey Hunter! Thanks! Yep the treadmill gets it done when needed. This week is pretty early into my Mohican cycle so more of a build than anything. I’ll probably top out around high 80s for mileage…maybe 90. I peaked last year at 80 so I should be able to handle the mileage bump (hopefully).

I’ve decided to do it my way. If it’s too cold to run outside, I take the day off. If the roads are crap, I run slower. If it just snowed, I pretend that I am running through an obstacle course by lifting my feet really high and go for a high calorie burn.

Great week of training!!!

Thank you. Yes, get over it! I actually really don’t mind the treadmill at all. I use it so I can get my running done, I probably wouldn’t run otherwise in the winter. Too scary and rough out there sometimes. Nice week of training!

The more my training has developed from “anything and everything has got to be better than what I was doing,” to focused, quality driven sessions, the more I enjoy the treadmill. If I’m worrying about the cold, or footing on ice, or wind at different angles, I can’t focus on the task at hand.

That is an impressive week though, where does this week fall in your training? Is this a peak week or just another build week?
