Thank you all so much for your well wishes! I ended up running the exact race that I wanted to run. For me, my goal was to keep running – no stops/no walking. I did just that. I also wanted to run happy. For me that meant, giving encouragement to the other back of the pack runners that seemed to be struggling and give them a reason to keep running. I think I kept at least two of them running anyway. I am completely hooked on racing! I cannot wait until my next race. What a great community we runners are!
